Big fire at housing estate in Tai Po

A Level 3 fire broke out at housing estate Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.

The fire occurred at Wang Cheong House in Wang Fuk Court. Almost the entire exterior scaffolding was engulfed in flames, with thick smoke rising into the air.

Police received a report of the fire at 2:51 pm. Firefighters arrived and began extinguishing the blaze. The fire was upgraded to Level 3 at 3:02 PM. 

At least one person sustained serious injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Wang Fuk Court is located on Un Chau Section of Tai Po Road and has been occupied for over forty years.
