US President Donald Trump cast his ballot in the midterm elections saying he voted for all Republicans.

This as former US Vice President Kamala Harris blasted Trump describing his administration as "the most callous, corrupt and incompetent presidential administration we have ever witnessed."

President Trump and first lady Melania arrived at their West Palm Beach location at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office together ready to vote.

Trump has in the past been criticised for voting by mail despite his long history of railing against that method of submitting ballots.

At a rally in Georgia Saturday Trump announced a major new Audi plant will be built in Georgia as he tries to make good on his promise to bolster American manufacturing in the final days before the midterms.

"Audi has just committed to invest $4.2 billion in nearby Macon, Georgia to begin the construction next month on a massive plant that will produce 200,000 cars a year.

This will be the single largest investment in US auto industry history, modern history. And it's going to be totalling, we're totalling about 40 billion. Oh by the way, our auto plants, 58% of our auto business was gone.

It's all coming back. And then some $40 billion and 30,000 new jobs."

This as former President Barack Obama rallied Democratic voters in battleground Michigan on Saturday night.

The two-term president condemned critics of Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and said pairing the former health care official with current US Senator Elissa Slotkin would give the state a power duo.

Obama said "Imagine the power duo of Abdul and Elissa. You've got a Muslim manyou got a Jewish woman, fighting for you in the United States Senate. That's something, Michigan, you can be proud of.

Addressing Democrat Party supporters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire Saturday, US Vice President Kamala Harris acknowledged the emotional toll of losing to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election

but said this is the moment for people to speak.

"Part of what the founders imagined is that in a moment where we would be faced with such tyranny, such brutality, where we will be faced with the most callous, corrupt and incompetent presidential administration we have ever witnessed,

they imagined there would be a moment that we would create for the people, for the the people to speak and use their power to put in place the checks and balances that the people so rightly deserve.

And this is that moment. And this is that moment where the people get to speak and the people show their power."
