Civilian hits on the rise as Ukraine, Russia exchange strikes

Local authorities in Ukraine said Wednesday that at least two people were killed and 14 others injured following a Russian drone attack on shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Sumy.

Meanwhile, at least four people were killed and 29 others were injured by a Ukrainian strike in Russia's Novorossiysk region, according to Krasnodar region's governor on Wednesday.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that three private houses and five apartment buildings were damaged in the drone attack.

Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko reported that drone fragments fell in the vicinity of several industrial plants.

This as US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky might happen following his phone conversation with Putin
