MTR tests self-driving shuttle between high-speed & Airport stations

The MTR Corporation plans to launch an autonomous shuttle service between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Airport Express Kowloon Station in the second quarter of next year.

The MTR arranged for four autonomous vehicles to take part in testing along designated routes.

The rail operator says demand for transfers between high-speed rail and air services has gradually increased.

Details including the service arrangements and eligible passengers will be announced later.
