Trump discusses Minnesota, Iran and elections in lengthy NBC interview

U.S. President Donald Trump sat for a wide-ranging interview with NBC News, during which he addressed a number of issues.

He talked about the draw-down of some 700 immigration enforcement officers from Minnesota after the deaths in January of two citizens.

Trump also said Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamanei should be worried, claiming Tehran may have restarted its nuclear programme.

In addition, the president talked about the mid-term elections, a possible JD Vance-Marco Rubio ticket for the 2028 election, and the potential for him to pursue a third term.
