Iran continues to retaliate against Israel's attacks on its nuclear facilities.

Both countries launched air bombardments against each other today with civilian deaths reported on both sides.

There are no signs that either country is backing down.

Israel hit again by Iranian retaliatory missiles. This time the damage and consequences are more severe. A missile landed between two buildings, destroying both.

Rescue workers plough through concrete with cutting tools to scour the wreckage of theses bombed out buildings. They are searching for trapped survivors but at least 10 died here, with at least two of them children. The number could rise with hundreds injured. A much higher number than from a similar Iranian missile strike 24 hours earlier.

In nearby Tel Aviv, they are worried that that city could have casualties next. Falling debris can be dangerous. Israel's sophisticated defences, evidently, can be breached. Missiles may get through or be deviated from their originally intended targets.

The IDF releasing reassuring footage. This video shows them intercepting and destroying Iranian drones. The commentary registers a "direct hit" as the UAV is taken out by a helicopter.

In northern Israel, an Iranian projectile penetrates, leaving death and damage. The force of the explosion sent debris spinning through the windows and doors of this home.

This is what it look like when an Iranian missile lands in your street.

Iran's foreign minister calls it self-defence. Abbas Araghchi saying every country has that right and this is exactly what his armed forces began doing two nights ago and it will continue.

Iran says in further retaliation to what Israel is doing, it's widening its scope.

Iran says Israel targeted refineries so Iran will now go after what they call "economic sites" but insist they are "not expanding the war."

Israel reportedly bombed at least two oil and gas plants, trying to paralyse any further Iranian response. Israel did not confirm it is hitting Iran's energy sector but have told Iranians near military sites or weapons factories to evacuate immediately.
