French President arrives Jakarta for state visit

The French President, Emmanuel Macron, and the First Lady, Brigitte Macron, arrived in Jakarta on early Wednesday to begin their state visit to Indonesia.
Macron is scheduled to meet with Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, followed by a lunch with Indonesian investors and CEOs to discuss projects in France.
Additionally, Macron is scheduled to give a speech about Ukraine and the Middle East to students at the National University of Jakarta.
Macron is also planning to visit ASEAN Secretariat in the afternoon before concluding the day with a state dinner.
On the second day, Macron will visit the military academy in Magelang and the Borobudur Buddhist Temple to demonstrate France's commitment to supporting Indonesian heritage preservation before departing for Singapore to attend the Shangri-La Dialogue.
