Ocean Park's Water World reopened this morning after it closed for more than six months. After closing for more than six months, Ocean Park's Water World is once again open to the public.
Ocean Park staff greeted their first group of visitors with a special ceremony. The theme park distributed 3,000 half-priced tickets for this year's DSE candidates.
Some residents said they had to visit Water World at least once over the summer, adding they used to be regulars. The reopening also attracted tourists.
A tourist said: "(They like) the high slide, the adventurous slide. I like something more relaxed, not too scary and adventurous."
Ocean Park previously said Water World had a deficit of 200 million dollars. In October last year, the theme park announced a seasonal closure of the site, saying maintenance work would be conducted.
The current adult-priced ticket for Water World is 288 dollars, while children and student tickets cost 168.
