The government is proposing a subsidiary legislation for safeguarding national security. The Legislative Council will host two meetings to discuss the matter in the afternoon.
The government plans to cover several aspects in the proposal. This includes: any SAR department, agency or public servant must, on the request of the Office for Safeguarding National Security, provide all necessary and reasonable assistance and support in accordance with the law and in a timely manner.
