Restaurant fire in China's Liaoyang City leaves over 20 dead

A massive restaurant fire in the northeastern province of Liaoning on the mainland has left more than 20 people dead.
The fire broke out shortly after midday and engulfed a multi-storey building in Liaoyang City. According to authorities, the blaze has so far claimed at least 22 lives and injured three others.
Presiden Xi Jinping has issued directives, urging all-out efforts to provide comprehensive medical care for the injured and hold those responsible to account. Investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.
