Man arrested for feeding diluted rat poison to daughter

In Fung Tak Estate, Wong Tai Sin, a man consumed diluted rate poison and fed it to his daughter. Both were conscious when taken to hospital. Police are treating the case as attempted murder.

At around 9p.m. Sunday night, police received a report that a man in his forties mixed rat poison with water and gave it to himself and his teenage daughter. Paramedics arrvied and transported both to hospital for treatment.

Police said the man involved has a history of mental illness and are investigating the cause of the incident.
