Fire in Amsterdam rips through historic church

In the Netherlands, Dutch firefighters battled to put out a blaze that ripped through a historic Amsterdam church in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Footage from Dutch media shows flamed engulfing a tower of Vondel Church found inside the Dutch capital's famous Vondelpark.
The fire broke out shortly after midnight. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
