Donation of 100 million dollars from Nina Wang Charity for Tai Po tragedy

Nina Wang Charity Management Limited will provide a first donation of 100 million dollars to support the community reconstruction efforts following the fire in Tai Po's Wang Fuk Court.
The company announced that its application for tax-exempt charitable status under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance has received been approved.
After completing the relevant procedures, it will provide the first donation of 100 million dollars to support community reconstruction.
The organisation was set up under the will of the late billionaire Nina Wang and is chaired by former Legco chairperson Rita Fan.
