Number of deaths in the fire in Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po rose to 159

The number of deaths in the fire in Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po has rise to 159 as of Wednesday afternoon, the Police said.

Ten foreign domestic workers died.

37 people are still hospitalised, and 4 are in critical conditions.

The Police has completed the search for bodies in the 7 buildings that were on fire.

In order to better preserve possible bodies, officers were partly using their hands instead of tools in searching for the bodies.
