Suspected case of dog poisoning at Tseung Kwan O Pet Park

It is understood that the incident occurred on Thursday evening when a dog owner took the dog for a walk at Tseung Kwan O Pet Park. Upon returning home, the owner found the dog unwell and took it to an animal hospital, where it soon passed away.

The animal hospital posted on social media that the dog involved weighed at least 16 kilograms, exhibited symptoms of convulsions and diarrhea, and had what appeared to be white powder on its body.

It showed no signs of life upon arrival at the hospital. The owner has contacted the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department for testing.
