Scorching hot weather for coming few days

The Very Hot Weather Warning is in force. The Hong Kong Observatory says that temperatures will reach 36 degrees Celsius or above over the weekend because of the outer subsiding air of Tropical Cyclone Dolphin.

Apart from Tropical Cyclone Dolphin, the Observatory says an area of low pressure near Hainan Island will move in the general direction of the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the following two days, bringing unsettled weather to the region.

While it will maintain some distance from Hong Kong, weather authorities will closely monitor its intensity and movement.
