Motorcyclist dies after crash in Chek Lap Kok

A man died after he was involved in a motorcycle accident in Chek Lap Kok.

The vehicle was seen lying on the side of the road after the accident. Police officers were deployed on site to investigate.

Authorities received reports at around 8 p.m. of a motorcyclist suspected of having lost control of his vehicle while travelling on South Perimeter Road and crashing into a road sign.

The man lost his consciousness after the crash and was sent to North Lantau Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
