Government holds seminar on safeguarding national security

The government held a seminar this morning on the White Paper, Hong Kong's Practice of Safeguarding National Security under 'One Country, Two Systems'.

The seminar was held at the Government Headquarters at 10:00 AM. Chief Executive John Lee, Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan, senior government officials, and members of the Executive Council and Legislative Council members attended.

The meeting lasted approximately two hours. There were speeches by Chief Executive John Lee, Zhou Ji, the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong as well as others, who shared their insights on the White Paper, describing it as highly beneficial.
