The Arab League nations are angered by Israel's decision to recognise Somaliland, calling it an act of aggression.
At a meeting in Cairo, Egypt, Somali Ambassador Ali Orari said Israel's recognition constitutes a "blatant and unprecedented violation of international law".
The emergency meeting, which was called by Somalia, was held a day after Israel announced that it would recognise the region.
Orari said the move was part of a broader Israeli plan aimed at displacing Palestinians.
He said Somalia would not be a part of "any effort to displace our Palestinian brothers from their land."
Yemen's Houthi group, meanwhile, said that any Israeli presence in Somaliland would be treated as a military target.
