CE: employers should make it convenient for residents to vote on election day

Chief Executive John Lee has called on civil servants to vote in the December 7th Legislative Council election.

Speaking at the Legislative Council General Election launch ceremony, Lee said he would lead the administration to organise and promote the polling day.

Lee said government departments will allow civil servants to leave their posts and vote, adding that transportation will be provided for the group.

He also urged other employers to offer make it convenient for employees to vote on the polling day.
