HK-born astronaut sends Mid-Autumn Festival greetings from space

Hong Kong-born astronaut Lai Ka-ying delivered Mid-Autumn Festival greetings from the Chinese space station.

She says gazing at the bright moon in the vastness of space makes her miss her family and friends back on Earth even more while giving her festive blessings to Hong Kong and Macao citizens.

Chief Executive John Lee also sent Mid-Autumn blessings on social media.

Lauding the country's astronauts' feats, the city leader says he and Hong Kong citizens share the pride and honour of China's aerospace aspirations.
