A High Court jury on Thursday determined that a 93-year-old plastic surgeon unlawfully killed a top banker by gross negligence during a botched Botox injection seven years ago.

The 52-year-old female customer sought the Botox treatment from Franklin Li at a Tsim Sha Tsui beauty clinic. She died after the Botox injection.

In September, the High Court jury determined that Li, who suffered from dementia and neurocognitive disorder, was unfit to stand trial.

After deliberation on Thursday, the jury ruled that Li had committed all the acts in his original manslaughter charge.

The case has been adjourned until November 12th, when Li will receive his sentencing. Li remains on bail in the meantime.
