The hearing on Abby Choi's murder case continues at the High Court.
The three defendants, including Abby Choi's ex-husband Alex Kwong, former father-in-law Kwong Kau and former brother-in-law Anthony Kwong pleaded not guilty to murder, but have previously admitted to the charge of preventing the lawful burial of a body.
The prosecution called an expert witness, forensic pathologist Dr. Kwok Ka-ki, said two human legs were found in a refrigerator at a unit in Lung Mei Village.
The tissue was still "fresh", the cut marks were clean, there was no signs of bleeding or inflammation, suggesting they were severed with a sharp object post-mortem.
Kwok also found suspected human tissue on a saw and stated a large soup pot from the kitchen was sealed and sent to the mortuary.
Upon examination, a human head was found submerged in liquid inside.
Due to high-temperature damage, the soft tissue easily detached from the skull.
A hole on the right side of the skull was believed to have been caused by a blunt instrument while the victim was still alive.
