
Reportedly, the Hong Kong government has held its first drill at the redeveloped Huanggang Port Joint Inspection Building, mobilising about a thousand civil servants.
They took various transportation in various districts to reach the border checkpoint at the Huanggang Port, including buses, minibuses and taxis.
After the opening of the redeveloped Huanggang Port Building, there will be seven bus routes connecting the port area with other districts.
KMB route B11 with Tin Fu Bus Terminus being the destination has the cheapest fares at 10.5 dollars.
Citybus route B13 running between the port and Siu Sai Wan sees the most expensive fare, setting back passengers 27.6 dollars.
Six other minibus routes are also serving the port.
The department earlier said the elderly will continue to enjoy the 2-dollar concessionary fares for bus and minibus rides to and from the redeveloped Huanggang Port.
