HK's first Chinese Medicine Hospital's advantages

Hong Kong's first Chinese Medicine Hospital was opened late last year.

But there are already a number of Chinese Medicine Hospitals in the neighbour Greater Bay Area.

Professor Bian Zhanxiang, Chief Executive of Hong Kong's Chinese Medicine Hospital, says on TVB's Straight Talk programme that the Hong Kong hospital has distinct advantages.

The GBA has many Chinese medicine hospitals, but the Hong Kong's Chinese medicine hospitals still have the niche. The first one, we have the internationalisation.

We can go to the standardisation for those of clinical protocols.

Especially, we can have very good platform, integrate the Chinese and Western medicine in Hong Kong side because of Hong Kong's different registration system.

It's totally different from the mainland China.

So that's a niche part. And also we're going through the evidence-based approaches to promote the Chinese medicine practice.
