Wang Fuk Court residents continue to return to units to collect belongings

Residents of the seven fire damaged buildings in Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, continued their second round of collecting belonging in batches.

A major fire killed over a hundred people and damaged seven buildings in Wang Fuk Court late last year.

Residents are allowed to go back to their units to collect belongings.

The first to return were residents of Wang Tai House, Wang Sun House, and Wang Yan Court.

Residents began registering at the Kwong Fuk Community Hall this morning.

The second round of collecting belongings will continue until next Friday, with 10 floors open each time. 

A maximum of four residents can go up to each unit and stay for three hours, with no limit on the number of times they can go up.
