Even amid a rapidly spreading Ebola outbreak, people in the eastern parts of Democratic Republic of the Congo are going about life as usual.

Streets are still busy with plenty of traffic, and people walk through town to carry out their daily business. Behind the normal looking scenes are almost 600 suspected cases, with 139 suspected deaths.

In Rwampara, healthcare workers handled several bodies on Wednesday, and officials here said the outbreak is not yet under control.

Meanwhile, an American doctor who was in contact with people infected with Ebola has been taken to Czech Republic's capital Prague for observation.

The doctor shows no symptoms and would be kept in isolation for 3 weeks for observation.
