Chief Executive will lead delegation to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

Chief Executive John Lee will lead a delegation to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan early next month. The delegation includes government officials and over 60 high-level trade representatives.

Lee said: “Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the two countries to be visited, are two vast markets in Central Asia. They are rich in natural resources, have sustained economic development, strong growth momentum, and excellent market potential."

"As global trade relations are being reshaped, the Hong Kong SAR Government's proactive exploration of the Central Asian market aims to establish new trade channels for Hong Kong, discover emerging markets with abundant opportunities, consolidate traditional markets, explore new avenues, leverage Hong Kong's role as a platform for international trade, and help Central Asian countries better understand and value Hong Kong's market and advantages, bringing more economic benefits to Hong Kong and allowing its citizens to share in the economic dividends.”
