Drone attacks targeting Ukraine's Odesa and Dnipro hit overnight. This after Ukraine launched its largest scale drone attack on Moscow in more than a year, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy touted Ukraine's long-range capabilities. Russia's attacks on Ukraine's Odesa and Dnipro left at least 11 people including two children injured. This comes in the wake of Ukraine's largest scale drone attack on Russia in more than a year that hit Moscow and Belgorod, killing four people. Russia's defence ministry says more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones had been downed over the country in the past 24 hours. This comes as Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy vows retribution following Russia's heaviest drone and missile attack on Kyiv over a two-day period since the war began more than four years ago. "Our responses to Russia's prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified," Zelenskiyy says. He adds Ukraine was able to strike targets more than 500 km from Russia's border with his country, despite dense air defences around Moscow. "We are clearly telling the Russians: Their state must end its war," he said. Zelenskyy adds Ukraine's increased military activity had produced a "change in the balance of actions at the front, which is now tangible." Russia's foreign ministry has accused Kyiv of targeting civilians.
