Residents of Wang Chi House return to collect belongings following Tai Po fire

Wang Chi House was not directly affected by the fire. After registering at the Kwong Fuk Community Hall this morning, residents began returning to their flats. Many brought along suitcases and cardboard boxes, hoping to retrieve as many essential items as possible.
Starting yesterday, authorities have arranged for Wang Chi House residents to return to their units in batches over a five-day period. Up to four residents per household are permitted to enter together for a duration of three hours. Residents are allowed unlimited trips using the lifts during their allotted time.
