There are new signs the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is a fragile one. Iran has released video of its military firing missiles, which U.S. says were intercepted. And the U.S. has released footage showing strikes on two Iranian flagged-tankers it says were evading the U.S. blockade of Iranian shipping.
US President Donald Trump said Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a three-day ceasefire, and an exchange of 1,000 prisoners each. Trump said on social media the ceasefire would run from this Saturday through Monday.
Spanish authorities are preparing to receive the passengers and crew aboard a hantavirus-stricken cruise ship headed for Spain's Canary Islands. Three people have died since the outbreak. Five passengers who left the ship are known to be infected with the virus.
The man charged with attacking the White House Correspondents' Association dinner last month is seeking to disqualify top Justice Department officials from direct involvement in prosecuting him, arguing they attended the dinner and could be considered victims or witnesses, thereby creating a conflict of interest.
