First round of Wang Fuk Court homecoming set to end on Monday

Residents of Tai Po's Wang Fuk Court continue to make their way back to their damaged apartments to collect their belongings.
This as some elderly residents insisted on walking all the way up to the 25th floor to bid farewell to their former home.
Today marks the 14th day of Wang Fuk Court residents being allowed to return to their old apartments to retrieve their belongings.
Several residents prepared large numbers of suitcases, bags and boxes to grab as many valuables as they could, while a number of them said they were more touched by the fact that they could reunite with some former neighbours.
The first round of homecoming is set to end on Monday, with authorities noting that at least 800 households expressed hopes of returning to their residences for a second time.
