Amber rainstorm warning signal in force throughout the afternoon in HK

The observatory earlier issued the amber rainstorm warning signal that remained in force throughout the afternoon, and further indicated the possibility of the city being affected by hail.

Weather authorities added that Hong Kong will experience unstable weather conditions for the next one to two days. 

The observatory issued the amber rainstorm warning signal at 2:20 p.m. that remained in effect for three and a half hours, during which a hail warning was also issued.

Weather authorities also predicted squally showers to impact the city and the rest of the Guangdong region for the coming two days. 

This as the temperature will remain mild tomorrow at 21 to 25 degrees Celsius, before gradually rising after the middle of this week.
