A standalone house in Shouson Hill was burgled, with preliminary estimates showing losses of more than 1.5 million dollars.
Losses include ten luxury watches and a large amount of cash.
The case occurred around 10 a.m., when police received a report from a domestic helper that a five-storey house on Shouson Hill Road had been broken into.
Several rooms showed signs of being ransacked, and the iron gate at the back door had been pried open, with burglary tools left at the scene. Initial estimates indicate at least ten luxury watches and 400,000 dollars in cash were stolen.
