Mark Six 50th Anniversary Snowball offers potential $228 million 1st prize

The Mark Six 50th Anniversary Snowball draw will be held tonight. 

The Hong Kong Jockey Club estimates that if a single bet wins the first prize, the prize money will reach $228 million, setting a new record for the highest prize money ever.

At the Stanley Street betting station in Central, which has a record of 47 jackpot winners, there was a queue stretching outside the outlet this morning.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mark Six, the Hong Kong Jockey Club is launching a two-part "50th Anniversary Snowball". The first draw will be held tonight at 9:30 pm, and betting will close at 9:15 pm.
