China expresses appreciation to African countries following Lai Ching-te's postponed trip

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its "high appreciation" following postponement of Lai Ching-te's trip to Eswatini. 

The statement from the ministry today follows confirmation that Lai's visit from Taiwan to Eswatini, set for April 22 to 26, was postponed due to flight permits cancellation from Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar along the route.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement, showing appreciation for the relevant nations' "adherence to the one-China principle is in full compliance with international law."
