Artists who participate in Eurovision 2026 are said to keep the annual music event out of politics and focus on spreading love.

It's an important stop in the run up to the finals in May as fans make up their minds to support and enjoy a showcase of 2026's acts.

Thirty five countries are competing in this year's Eurovision Song Contest -although Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain - are all boycotting due to discord over Israel's participation.

This year's semi-finals and grand final will be held in Austria, as they won the crystal microphone last year.

At the moment Finland's Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen are leading the odds with their combination of pop vocals and violins.
