Poyang Lake in Jiangxi Province is an internationally important wetland, known as the "kidney of the earth," and it showed a unique green "tree of the earth" landscape.
This is the result of the combined effects of seasonal water level changes, water erosion and deposition, flat lakebed topography, and the growth of lake grasses.
