US President Donald Trump declared that his envoys will be in Pakistan on Monday for talks with Iran, however, Iran's Tasnim news agency media said the nation currently has made no decision to send a negotiating delegation if the US naval blockade continues.

This as the two sides accused each other of ceasefire breaches. Some US senior officials warned fighting can reignite within days if no breakthrough is in place soon.

Iranian media showed footage of what it describes as vessels and boats in the Strait of Hormuz, which was closed again by the Revolutionary Guards Corps Saturday evening.

Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported two oil tankers sailing under the flags of Botswana and Angola that attempted to transit the strait were intercepted by Iranian armed forces on Sunday.

The country's officials said the US's so-called "blockade" of Iranian ports and coastlines committed violation of the two-week ceasefire and held firm that while it remained in effect, ships wouldn't pass the strait.

In a social media post on Sunday, Trump blasted Iran for violating the ceasefire agreement by firing bullets at vessels.

This as the UK Maritime Trade Operations centre said at least two ships reported they had been fired upon when approaching the strait.

With shipping through the waterway at standstill, the US president stepped up his threat to knock out "every single power plant, and every single bridge, in Iran" if the nation doesn't accept terms in what he describes as a "very fair and reasonable deal" that the US is offering.

The White House said Vice President JD Vance, who led the first round of face-to-face talks with Iran last weekend, would lead a delegation to Islamabad Monday evening, along with envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Prior to this, Pakistan's top diplomat Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

The pair discussed the need for continued dialogue and engagement as essential to resolving the current issues as soon as possible.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is also slated to speak to Pakistani prime minister on the phone on Sunday.
