At least 14 injured in minibus crash in Tsing Yi

At least 14 people were injured after a minibus crashed into a truck in Tsing Yi.
The incident happened on Ching Hong Road near Cheung Ching Estate.
The minibus travelling on the 88D route sustained severe damage at the front of the vehicle. Several passengers also remained trapped on board until their rescue by fire services personnel.
Some of the injured had to be carried via stretchers while others head to wear neck braces.
Many passengers had to wait by the roadside for further assistance.
The police received reports of the crash at around 9:30 p.m., with local sources indicating that the minibus driver failed to stop in time before slamming into the back of a truck.
The injured individuals have been sent to Yan Chai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
