Former housemates of a man charged in deadly attacks in the US city of Atlanta spoke out about the case that drew the attention of President Donald Trump's administration. UK-native Olaolukitan Adon Abel is accused of killing two women, including a Department of Homeland Security employee, and critically injured a man. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin called the shootings "acts of pure evil", and raised concern about Adon Abel, who was granted US citizenship in 2022. Adon Abel was arrested and is facing murder charges. One of Adon Abel's neighbours spoke about his problematic behaviour. Lakisha McKinzie said, "That night he got into a tussle with one of the roommates and they were fighting over the temperature of the house. And that night he went up to his room and he packed his things and he walked out with this big duffle bag and that was after midnight."
