Ethnic minority support centre expands at Austin MTR station

A charity serving underprivileged ethnic minorities has expanded its service centre at Austin MTR station.

Zubin's Family Centre first opened in 2023, and this newly expanded portion features a multi-purpose space designed for elderly gatherings, women's empowerment programmes, youth support services, and family counselling. 

Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun said he is grateful to see the MTR providing more space, which has more than doubled the size of the centre. He also expressed hope that this kind of facility can be replicated in other places.
