Britain's Prince Harry visited Canberra today where he participated in an Indigenous smoking ceremony at the Australian War Memorial.

Harry laid a wreath and wafted in smoke from a fire pit of burning leaves at the For Our Country memorial, honouring the military service of Indigenous Australian personnel.

Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, arrived in Melbourne on Tuesday for their first Australian visit since their official royal tour in 2018.

The lower-key four-day Australian visit comes after the couple announced in 2020 they planned to "step back" as senior royals.
