School shooting in Turkey school leaves at least 16 injured

At least 16 people were wounded during a school shooting in Turkey's southeastern Sanliurfa Province.
The motive of the attack remains unclear.
On Tuesday, a former student armed with a shotgun opend fire indiscriminately in the yard of a vocational high school before entering the building.
Local media earlier reported that police special operations units were deployed after the assailant refused to surrender.
Video footage showed dozens of evacuated students running to the gate and onto the streets.
The gunman later took his own life as police attempted to apprehend him.
The wounded were taken to hospital, including 10 students, four teachers, a police officer and a school canteen employee.
Five of them were later transferred to facilities in the provincial capital for further treatment because their conditions were more serious.
Officials said they will carry out a "comprehensive" investigation into the shooting.
