A flat in the fire-ravaged Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po is suspected of being burgled.

Residents of Wang Fuk Court have reported another suspected burglary after receiving photographs taken by their assigned social worker under the "one social worker per household" scheme. They have reported the incident to the police.

Ms. Lee said her parents and younger sister lived on a high floor of Wang Cheong House, the building where the Wang Fuk Court fire first broke out.

She said her sister used to tidy up her bed and room every morning before going to work, but this photo shows the bed was messy, all the drawers were open. 30,000 dollars cash was inside, and the jewelry boxes were also open.

The family is scheduled to return on April 28th to check the actual losses. They have already reported the case to the police.

Ms Lee added they will not be allowed to return to the unit for some time, so they are worried if similar events might happen in the coming two weeks.

She hopes the government can listen to the victims and take action to ensure the safety of their properties.

The police have conducted an investigation into the incident.
