Nearly 4,000 students sit first DSE written exam -- Visual Arts paper marks its start

The first written exam of this year's Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) Examination -- the Visual Arts paper -- began today.
Nearly 4,000 candidates sat the Visual Arts exam.
This year, over 46,000 day school students have registered for the DSE, representing an increase of about 8 percent from last year.
Some candidates reported feeling nervous, while others said they were well-prepared.
As for the four core subjects, the Chinese Language paper will be held on Thursday, followed by English and Mathematics while the Citizenship and Social Development exam is scheduled for next Tuesday.
