Ukraine's president travels to Istanbul for talks with Erdogan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to Istanbul Saturday for talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Zelenskyy said we was working to strengthen Kyiv's partnership with Turkey to ensure the real protection of lives, advance stability, and guarantee security in Europe and the Middle East. His visit follows overnight Russian attacks on Ukraine that killed five people and injured 30 others. Russia fired 286 drones at Ukraine overnight, 260 of which were downed, the Ukrainian Air Force said in an online statement.
