A recent US poll shows more than 60 percent of respondents oppose US military action against Iran. A CNN poll last week surveyed approximately 1,200 Americans. Only 34 percent of respondents supported a US strike against Iran, a drop of 7 percent from the start of the conflict. The disapproval rate rose to 66 percent. Satisfaction with President Trump's overall performance fell to 35 percent, a slight decrease of one percentage point from February. A Reuters poll also showed that 60 percent of respondents opposed an attack on Iran, while 35 percent supported it. About 66 percent of respondents wanted the conflict to end quickly with only two percent believing it should continue.
