Businessman Jason Poon was sentenced to a month in prison. That's after he made abusive remarks against Labour Tribunal judicial officers, calling them "rubbish" on his YouTube channel.

He was also said to have posted screenshots of parts of trial transcripts on his Facebook page. He signed an undertaking which restricts the use of the transcripts for proceedings.

Poon pleaded guilty to contempt of court.

Apart from a one-month prison term, the businessman has to shoulder the prosecution cost of more than 262,000 dollars.
