A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of doxxing his ex-girlfriend.
The man dated the victim in 2023 and broke up about two months later, but they still kept in touch.
According to an investigation by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, between December last year and January this year, he posted three times on one social media platform and four times on leaflets in different places, disclosing the female victim's personal information, including her Chinese name, alias, Hong Kong identity card number, residential address, mobile phone number, her photo, etc., and made negative comments on her.
